Some were slaves and some were freemen who could move to another location if they wished. Approximately 90% of the population in the Middle Ages were peasants and the vast majority were farm workers.
While this may be technically correct, it’s misleading. Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been described as a peasant simulator.
